It is a process of Americans finding Hawaii. It mentions the year 1895, Cuba’s urgent situation forced America to reconsider a new territory. The US negotiated with Spanish government to free Cuba. April of 1898, United States declared war to Spain. It ended soon in August. America occupied many islands in Pacific area. This is the period when president Mc Kinley and his party domain the congress.
