Description: Unedited footage of World War II U.S. prisoners of war being carried onto a ship on stretchers, receiving American Red Cross rations, and arriving in Nagasaki by train, greeted by a U.S. military band. Also included are brief close-ups of individual service members and images of the bombed-out countryside. Footage concludes with the following message written on a film slate and held up for the camera by a smiling soldier, perhaps the cameraman himself:

"Hi Gang - Nagasaki stinks / This film will make a good fire - nothing else / But orders is orders / Having a lousy time / wanna go home / Ex-P.S.L.'er Rocky"
