Depicts the lives of rural Africans in two widely separated West African fishing villages - Sussex and Ganvie. Shows the Sherbro fishermen using some interesting methods as well as the Ganvie people practicing a form of fish farming. Explains how ecological factors play a considerable role in the way people meet their food-clothing-shelter needs.
