Directed by Marcell Jankovics.
If we look at the trends of the past, it should be possible to predict that shape of the future. This is the theme of this animated film which takes a pointed look at the evolution of man’s ideas in many areas : communication, reproduction, tools, nutrition, medicine, and war. We see a capsule history of man’s leap from face to face communication, for instance, to the telephone and then to satellite relays. Romance, too, is shown to have capitulated to society’s demand for greater speed and efficiency. A humorous, provocative look at technical “progress” and our streamlined lives.
