Description: The dramatic story of treasure hunter Mel Fisher who discovered a fortune of gold and silver off the Florida Keys where the Spanish galleon Nuestra Senora de Atocha went down in a hurricane in 1622. The film captures the excitement of the find as Fishers's divers bring up silver bars verifying the treasure as that of the Atocha as well as personal tragedy and the claims of the U.S. government concerning jurisdiction over the recovered treasure.
