Description: This 1950s home movie captures Conrad Fath, Jamie Odom, and Lon Fitzgerald in San Blas, Mexico as they were filming “Robalo Grande,” a 1950s film that follows two fisherman on the quest to catch the elusive Robalo Grande off the coast of Mexico. The footage includes shots included in the film as well as the relaxing scene at their hotel. Fath owned and operated Fath Boats and Motors in Austin. His wife, Shudde, was a prominent civic activist. She was also a founding member of the City of Austin's Electric Utility Commission, serving from 1977 to 2017. Conrad Fath passed away in 1990.
