Got you. >> Wouldn't like your kind around these parts. You killed me last time. Now it's your turn to get shot. >> They had much fun watching television together after school. Taking turns being the bad guy. >> Dwayne, look at this mess you've made. Now we'll have to clean it up. I promised your mother you'd be home by 4:00, Gerald. It's time for you to get started. >> Okay. Want to walk halfway with me? Nah, I want to watch the rest of this TV show. >> Wish I had my own TV. >> Don't kill it. Are you crazy? [Music] [Music] Wayne's favorite program was Superkid. He watched it so much he began to think he was Superkid himself. He even imagined he could fly. >> Don't be fright, Janette. I'll save you. >> Dwayne, are you all right? That's the craziest thing I've seen you do yet. Wait till I tell your father about this. >> It's not like this on TV. [Music] [Music] I thought we were going to study. Got that history test tomorrow. Aren't you going to study for it? Don't cry me, man. I'm going to watch the TV show first. All right. Don't your mom and dad ever let you watch TV? Sure, but not till I finish my schoolwork. Ever see the natural history show on Saturday? Last week it was about the Grand Canyon. That stuff bores me. I like this one. Bandex of Scotard. Good show, old boy. >> You haven't even started to read the book yet, have you? >> I don't have time to read. The test will only cover the first three chapters. You'll give me the answers if I get stuck, won't you, Gerald? [Music] Gerald reviewed the chapters of his book assignment. He easily answered the test questions. [Music] But Dwayne couldn't answer any of them. [Music] >> Hi, Dwayne. Seems I can't count on you, boy. Huh? It was a bit sticky in class this afternoon. I needed you and you let me down. Not very decent of you, was it, old chap? I never said I'd help you. I told you to read the first three chapters. You let me down. Double crossed me. Can't let you get away with that sort of thing. Sorry, but you've got it coming, old chum. Ouch. What did you hit me for? I didn't mean to hurt you, Gerald. What did you hit me for? Cuz you hit me. Oh, my head hurts. Mine, too. My hand hurts, too. So does mine. It's not like this on TV. [Music] Later, Dwayne's teacher called his mother. She reported that Dwayne seemed tired and inattentive at school and came to class unprepared.
