To die for Ireland

After a decade of sectarian conflict in which more than 2,000 people have been killed, Northern Ireland is a war zone occupied by British soldiers. Filmed over a two-month period, this documentary records the tragic consequences of a legacy of violence. It shows the destructive forces of the Irish Republican Army and the British Army's methods of surveillance and emergency powers.
