Thin line

Examines the maximum security mental health center at Penetanguishene, Ontario set up as an alternative to the penitentiary. The center uses experimental programs, including encounter sessions and drug treatments to rehabilitate men who have committed brutal crimes. Interviews with inmates reveal the reasons why they turned to crime and how the center is helping them re-enter society.
