Shows the chain of small infractions of fire-safety rules which together brought disaster to what had been considered a modern, fireproof suburban hospital. Includes interviews with some of the patients, with the building superintendent, and with members of the medical and nursing staff, who point to places where caution slackened and suggest some remedies.
