Complete Record: CU demonstration of how to shape acrylic plastics with heat and various molding materials, precision cutting with circular saws, band saws and hand saws. Planing acrylics with various files, drilling plastic while its in a vice with soap and water. Buffing and polishing inside and out with polishing wheels and solvent. Fusing pieces of plastic acrylic together so that the seams are invisible. Cementing with jigs. Test strength by tapping after it has hardened. Creating a design mark it out on masking paper beforehand, cut it on a band saw and line a wooden mold with felt for the piece to take shape. Buff and polish again.
