Description: During this hour-long program, NET continues its examination of the civil rights issue by presenting two separately produced half-hour segments which probe the attitudes of white southerners whose views on segregation are at opposite ends of a spectrum. Part I "The Southern Conservative," offers interviews with a cross-section of pro-segregationists, while Part II, "The Southern Liberal," features interviews with a number of southerners who favor integration.
