Reenacts the June, 1873,, trial in which Susan B. Anthony is being prosecuted for voting in a national election. Not allowed to testify in her own behalf, Susan is found guilty but refuses to pay her fine of $100.00 plus court costs. Her courage inspires others to organize and battle for equal rights. The people’s reactions to Susan and her fight for women’s suffrage reflect the public opinion of her time,, and, in fact, have interesting parallels to the women’s liberation movement of today.
