The Treatment of Acute Schizophrenia

Intensive treatment of acute schizophrenic patients with neuroleptic agents can result in rapid remission of symptoms and early release from the hospital as demonstrated in this program. Patients included are a neglected catatonic, a paranoid schizophrenic, a hebephrenic and an excitable woman with delusions of persecution.
