Tells the story of how 350 Peruvian natives, in 18 months, with the supervision of eight Americans and assisted by 7,000 horsepower of modern tools built the 40-mile pipeline that brought the impounded waters of a mountain lake to the barren slope of Toquepala on which lay buried a rich deposit of copper.
