Description: Hand puppets are used to tell the story of husband and wife who are visited by the Fairy Princess, disguised as an old woman. The husband and wife refuse to feed the Old Woman because their cupboard is bare and they are selfish. The Old Woman visits another peasant cottage, where a kinder husband and wife, beset by misfortune, offer to share their meager meal with the Old Woman.
