Description: Depicts the television carrier wave as an electro-magnetic wave, subjected to certain laws that also apply to mechanical vibrations. Uses the pendulum and the vibrating string to illustrate the concept of harmonic vibrations and the associated concepts of frequency and damping. Investigates the electrical and magnetic fields which are obtained with simple resonant circuits with dipoles.
