An exploration of Earth's neighboring planets, Mercury, Venus and Mars as well as the four gaseous giants, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune. Using photographs taken from spacecraft, the film shows Mercury's cratered surface, Venus' swirling cloud cover, and Jupiter's mass. Examines how scientists interpret the data they receive from recent space voyages and specially equipped telescopes.
