The Siege of Pinchgut

Description: Made in Australia by Ealing Studios, this film is concerned with the escape from prison of a man who claims he has been unjustly incarcerated. He escapes and lands on Pinchgut Island in Sydney Harbour, occupies a disused arsenal and defies a police seige by taking the caretaker and his family hostage.
