Description: Presents six comic sequences showing how three men, living in the security of an enclosed room, are driven into panic and confusion by the noisy attempts of a dog, that is trying to break into the room through a ventilation shaft. Private Detective John Shaft is informed that some gangsters are looking for him. Shaft arranges a meeting with Bumpy Jonas, the leader of a Harlem-based organized crime family, to ensure the safe return of Marcy Jonas. After tracking down Ben Buford as Bumpy suggested, a big shoot-out ensues. Two hoods get killed and Shaft takes a bullet in the shoulder in a gunfight.
