An English version of Louis Aragon’s poem originally filmed in France, translated by Stephen Spender and spoken by Emlyn Williams. In the form of an allegory, it is a memorial to those who died in the French Resistance. Music by George Aurig. Photographed by Marice Barry le Chevallier.
