The Rhinoceros

Tells how the thick-skinned rhinoceros has survived almost unchanged from prehistoric times, but today even its massive build cannot protect it from extinction. Describes how countless thousands of the beasts have been slaughtered for their horns, leaving the endangered species to exist mainly in a few protected reserves of Africa and India.
