Description: Dramatizes a future where kite flying is prohibited because it is self- rather than society-oriented. Tells the story of a man who receives a kite in the mail and, remembering the joys of flying a kite from his youth, the man takes his wife and son out to fly the kite. Shows the man being taken away by the protectors of the society because, since the kite represents personal freedom, it is seen as a threat to the common good.
