Complete Record: ‘An animated, abstract ballet about conformity.’ Two colors and two geometric shapes are used in this film, conceived and executed by three high school students in Arlington, Virginia. Its Biblical title hints at one possible interpretation. Squares and circles take on human characteristics as they portray the conflict that arises between an established society and its idealistic members who preach a new truth. Demonstrates the often tragic fate of the pioneers of social change. Based on a story by Keith Beasley; Richard Grossman; and Carl Hemenway.
