Description: Major Baldwin (James Stewart) is ordered to blow up an airfield as well as strategic roads and bridges to help American troops in China retreat from the Japanese army. Baldwin becomes attracted to the widow of an American-educated widow of a Chinese officer. He is eventually successful in blowing up a munitions dump before the Japanese capture.
