The Morning star painter

Description: A film about an Aboriginal family who live in Arnhem Land in the Northern Territory. Jack Wunuwun is a tribal elder and a well known painter and this film records him making a bark painting depicting the legend of the morning star. Bark paintings and woven baskets, that are done by the family, are taken into Darwin to be sold. Narrated and with music by David Gulpilil.
