The Making of woollen and worsted cloth

Description: Illustrates how yarn is woven into cloth. The principles of weaving are illustrated on a simple hand loom and then the working of a large power-loom is explained. Various processes needed for finished cloth - fulling, cropping, napping and folding - are illustrated; reconstruction of early hand methods being followed by shots of modern factory machines.
