The Little Train

Complete Record: Animated film tells the story of a coal train that finds his job boring. Train is tired of hauling coal and wants to be more like a big train. One day, he decides to leave on the big tracks, leaving behind the other trains that depend on him. Little train travels through the countryside, ignoring the road blocks attempting to stop him. He eventually runs out of fuel in a junkyard filled with other runaway trains. He realizes he misses home. Trains at home are at a standstill and cannot function without the little train. Vines begin to entangle him as he summons up sufficient steam for one last whistle for help. Sound alerts a little girl and a watchman who rescue the little train. All the waiting trains are pleased upon his return. The little train is happy when he realizes his importance to all the other trains that depend on him.
