Description: Bash takes a film trip to the high mountains and shows the life of trees in the forest. She traces the progression of a seed packed tightly in a cone throughout the growth of a young tree struggling to get sun and sending its roots deep into the soil for water. Bash visits a juniper tree which is over a thousand years old and shows the marks of its struggle for survival. She shows how it adapted to changing conditions when necessary. Songs include “Billy Boy” and “Long, Long Trail.”
