Explains the two types of ‘tertian’ and ‘qurtan’ fevers. Very technical terms are used to explain the redevelopment of the parasites within the mosquito and the many forms of the parasite Presents in animation exoerythrocytic and erythrocytic schizogony and gametogony in man, and sporogony in the Anopheles mosquito; pictures the differential characteristic of plasmodia in thin and thick blood films.
