Description: This traditional Chinese fairy tale utilizes puppet animation to tell the story of Jade Blossom and Morning Glory. They are prevented from marrying by the evil ruler, Night Shadow, who disguises himself as a red maple leaf and separates them. After a series of adventures in a magical forest of glass, through halls of distorting mirrors and infernal machines, the lovers are finally united.
