Interviews with five children of concentration camp survivors show the memories, attitudes, and feelings of those who had parents in the Holocaust. Now in their twenties and thirties and living in the United States, some speak of growing up in a "conspiracy of silence" while others recall parents who were "overprotective" because of fear of losing a child. All express how incomprehensible the atrocity remains for them
