Description: Records some of the customs of the Kwakiutl Indians as seen in 1930 through the lens of noted anthropologist Dr. Franz Boas. Observes the Kwakiutl involved in such handicrafts as weaving mats and baskets, spinning, and making ropes. Depicts the Indian children playing stick games and pulling games. Observes many dances including Bird Dance, Dance of the Trees, Nootka Dance, and Begging Dance.
