Dramatizes the story from the 15th to the 19th centuries by means of contemporary woodcuts, engravings, paintings, and drawings by such artists as Dürer, Breughel, Hogarth, and Daumier; and the later story with actual photographs of Ehrlich and Hata, and motion picture records of the work of Fleming, Mahoney and others.
