From the container:
Seen through the eyes of a young girl, this program introduces children to an environment that most of them know little about and that many of them fear. The girl, Joanese, has come to the hospital with her father, who is retrieving treatment as an outpatient. she is given a tour of the hospital by a technician, visiting everything from the waiting room to the operating room. She also learns about the many jobs that hospital employees perform to help sick people regain their health. This comprehensive program describes the importance of hospitals in a realistic, yet nonthreatening, context.
