Description: Evocative sound effects complement this wry, animated glimpse of English rural life over a three-day period. On a hilltop farm, a couple routinely tends their gluttonous livestock; their shepherd, who lives on the opposite hill, sleepily guards the sheep. One day, the predictable rhythms of their life are disrupted by the arrival of a carful of camera-toting campers and a group of inept but trigger-happy foxhunters. A huge, angry bear prowls the countryside threatening both man and beast. The situation is further complicated by the fickleness of nature. Initially withholding the essential rains, it later sends a torrent that forces the campers and hunters to take refuge with the farmer couple. With the storm's passing, the intruders leave and life resumes its normal pace.
