Description: The plot is a satire derived from Hugh Antoine D’Arcy’s poem “The Face on the bar room floor. It tells of the broken-down artist (Charlie Chaplin) who, having lost his wife (Cecile Arnold) to another man, draws her face on the floor of a bar room. Charlie tells his tragic story in flashbacks. NB: Silent film with no soundtrack.
