The Foreman And His Ladies

i know it's early and i appreciate it so get this situation straightened out now i just got this week's completion charts you're not keeping up to your move rate why i just don't know george i'm i'm really pushing as hard as i can it's not good enough now i've told you before we're under the gun this close to contract closeout now your rate has got to go up not down i've only been supervising this all-woman unit for two months george they just don't react or motivate likes too i've given them a pep talk and the absentee rater said i don't understand well it doesn't hold water bill the previous foreman in your unit had a very good record with practically the same people whatever you're doing is wrong and you've got to get it straightened out and fast okay i'll give them the word first thing this morning they'll straighten out or else okay bill but i've got to see some positive results well well miss mullen nice of you to join us today i suppose you've got another good reason for being late well of course bill you see i went to this church social last night and i was up until all hours calling bingo numbers i mean that takes a lot out of a girl i'm obviously going to the wrong church hello fenny you're the best worker in this unit when you're here but i can't put up with your being late half the time yes bill now damn it betty you know we're on a tight schedule and this kind of crap doesn't help a thing my my such language i'd hate to have to report you just what in the hell do you think you're doing ava i've told you before not to use a knife like that one slip and the whole bundle's ruined now we've had too damn many rejects lately just thought it was faster you're not being paid to think now you take these types and do it right why haven't you women got anything to do you've got a schedule to meet well i never you think i'd done the whole damn job wrong boy has he got a problem this morning uh oh here comes more trouble marie so you finally decided to come to work don't you know you're supposed to be here at 7 18. but mr walsh my baby had to croup all night i haven't even been to bed that's tough i'm sorry but i've got problems too and there's been entirely too much lightness around here lately but but this is the first time i've ever been laid i don't care now we can't build products and you people aren't here you women act like you don't even care about your jobs i'm sick and tired of your thinking you can do whatever you like now talking to you doesn't help so you're going to get our written warning for keepsake bill some people around here get away with murder and never seem to get blamed i don't know that this is any of your damn business but if you got something to say then say it all right i will we all know who's always late and you hardly say a word to her but poor marie is late once with a good reason and you give her a notice well it's not fair that's what i want to say ava's right i'm not going to sign that warning if you've never given video warning slip then i certainly don't deserve one hey who's throwing my name around i want to see a sharp steward i've had it with you women you and your petty jealousies betty is the best worker in this unit and you know it now when you and marie can keep up with betty then come and talk to me but in the meantime the way i run this unit has none of your business and if you don't like it you know what you can do you
