Description: Uses cinephotomicrography and ordinary photography to explain how the circulatory system of higher animals developed to meet the needs of the body's millions of cells. Dr. Benjamin Zweifach, New York University college of Medicine, explains the problems in the study of microcirculation, and using diagrams and the mesentary of a living rat illustrates the cycle of circulation. The work in specific areas of circulation being done by colleagues of Dr. Zweifach is briefly presented.
