This highly entertaining British, Halas & Batchelor animated film begins as a young girl settles down into bed to sleep after coming home from a party. One of her feet protrudes from under the bed cover and the toes come alive and discuss how painful they are after being cramped into ill-fitting shoes all day. The toes show in a series of flash-backs how they have been maltreated, and a dream shows how they would like to be treated - feet measured, shoes fitted and lots of time spent out of shoes and stockings. [Music] over tonight me in the music started to play before we ride everyone ringing alive [Music] with is that you yes me nice party super we had the most tell me in the morning good night night oh my feet [Music] pH what a relief I'm so stiff I can hardly stretch out of those shoes at last about time too there there shall I rub it better never mind it was awful but it's over now huh it may be over but it certainly was awful for a start how about this morning you're too right what a [Music] day I wonder what sort she'll get let's hope they're more comfortable than the last lot yes let's hope we have lots of rum this time lots and lots and lots hey aren't we going to be measured we must have room to move around and grow in she's forgotten again in and out in and out it's all go what next I wonder this one looks fine feels good too wait till she SS up that's the [Applause] crunch fancy making us walk all the way home in these ghastly things walking shoes my foot hey stop that stop what you pushed me on purpose I didn't did didn't did didn't did be quiet you two there's a party tonight a party [Music] help [Music] talk about [Music] [Music] sardines [Music] after that clumsy brute Trot on us I really thought she'd take us home not her selfish thing shush you'll wake the little one a little thing she's dropped off well pleasant dreams wouldn't it be lovely [Music] if [Music] this is more like it first we're measured from toe to heel so we know what size we need then all the way around to get the right width fitting Bliss no more short or narrow shoes bags of room for us all fit snugly around the heel and inep so we don't all slide [Music] forward super I can stand straight so now we'll all grow straight and look at our baby not squashed up anymore are you love what more whenever we're at home we'll be let out to play what no [Music] [Applause] shoes will we do this every day yes every day wouldn't it be lovely [Music] the with the with the with the
