Beneath the sea we find the fight for life proceeding at its most ferocious pace. The panther shark falls victim to the giant lobster. The lobster in turn is stunned by the electric ray. The cuttle-fish escapes either by clouding the water, or by hiding in the sand, or by changing his color. The octopus engages the lobster in a battle from which only one participant emerges alive. A “struggle for existence” and the survival of the fittest."
