Uses period etchings and drawings to portray the details of the famous trial of Alfred Dreyfus in France at the turn of the century. Captain Alfred Dreyfus, a military officer and a Jew, was falsely accused of treason in 1894. Depicts the violent social, military, and judicial controversies that ensued. The indications of anti-Semitism split France into two opposing camps for years afterward.
