The Day That Sang and Cried

This award-winning 28-minute, color film is designed to assist junior and senior high and adult level students in recognizing and empathizing with feelings of loneliness, frustration and other emotions in other people. The film focuses on 1 day in the life of a teenage boy, and his feelings of loneliness, joy, boredom, and rejection. It is intended to stimulate peer identification with the main character, and to stimulate discussion around topics such as peer group pressure, relationships with parents, and use of free time. Provides a study in adolescence and an effective discussion catalyst for youth and parents.
