Produced in Czechoslovakia, this animated modern fable tells of the cricket; caught in the spider web, he provokes the murderous spider with his violin-playing, and works a justifiable revenge., In this animated film, a cricket passing by with his fiddle is captured by an evil spider. The cricket escapes but breaks his fiddle. Repairing it with a peg from a butcher's knife, he finds that the knife responds to music. It frees the spider's victims and chases the arachnid away.
