Complete Record: The following films are silent: 1. Untitled Cross-eyed dishwasher hates his job, and sabotages it by breaking plates, using them for target practice, stomping on them and tossing them against the wall. The master of the house and the maid are not amused. 2. “Stage door Ben” Ben is enamored with the dancers of a theater, so he sneaks in through the back stage door, first with a trunk. After he’s chased out, he tries to come back in with flowers, and he disturbs the rehearsal completely. 3. The Chuckle heads present “Bobby’s Roller skates” Vignettes including: A young boy in a chief’s hat delivering flour door-to-door on his scooter with a basket. Then he tries to imitate a newsboy who passed by, by tossing them at people’s doorstep. Footage of people getting smacked in the face with flour. Grown man fails at using roller skates while his wife, painted black face butler, and little girl laugh at him. They are indoors in a spacious living room. The little girl gives roller skating a shot and she fails too. Little girl and little boy fight outside, and policeman breaks it up. 4. Chuckle heads present “Dr. Hairbreath Hairy” Men in suits at a formal banquet, they keep obstructing each other from eating because they are all trying to pass plates to each other simultaneously. Out of desperation one man eats a plate. Another man eats off his neighbor’s plate. In the confusion, one man pours a lot of hot water from a tea pot into his lap. Second sketch: Snidley Whiplash- type character has mustache, cape and top hat. He repeatedly tries to break into a mansion and the policeman keeps foiling him. Bad guy then tries to use his bicycle/ airplane “Spirit of Ammonia” to fly and cycle away with a beautiful blond/ damsel in distress. Her lover saves her. funny scene: Two lovers run to embrace/ hug each other and instead they bump into each other
