The Christmas tree

Description: This is a traditional Ukrainian folktale, based on a story by Michaelo Kochubinsky, set in the 19th century. The story concerns eleven year old Ivanko, his parents, a mysterious old man and the “special” Christmas tree that tests the family’s faith and draws them together.
