In southern Mexico at the turn of the 20th century, cattle and farmers mysteriously disappear at a location called Hollow Mountain. The mountain has never been explored and the swamp at its base is said to claim the lives of anyone foolish enough to go to its banks. American cowboy Jimmy Ryan leads three cowboys into the area in search of lost cattle. He begins falling in love with the beautiful Sarita, who had also stopped to help Pancho.
