The famous legend of Frankie and Johnny comes humorously to life in this animated film version, told from the viewpoint of a murder trial. Through exaggeration and parody, fun is poked at the histrionics of courtroom melodramas "and crimes of passion". And the question remains: "Did he do her wrong?"
