Description: Re-creates the historic Pythian games which were second in importance only to the Olympic games. Two former U.S. Olympic decathlon champions, Bill Toomey and Rafer Johnson, compete in five events (sprint, discus throw, long jump, javelin throw, wrestling) of the Greek pentathlon as they were conducted 2500 years ago in the original stadium at Delphi, Greece. , Re-creates the historic Pythion games. Reenacted at Delphi, site of the original games. Former Olympic decathlon gold medalists Bill Toomey and Rafer Johnson compete in the five events of the pentathlon.
