Pianist: Philip Saltz. Libretto based on an idea by Alan Porter. Performed by members of the American Dance Festival Repertory Company, featuring Marc Stevens, Nina Watt, Peter Woodin, Rael Lamb, and Ted Striggles. Description: 1 reel. 19 1/2 min. 702 ft. : sd. color. ; 16 mm. A camera was placed to the back of the auditorium to get the action of the full stage. Perhaps, a second camera was used at a closer range or the one camera had a zoom lens. In terms of faithfully executing Charles Weidman’s experience with film and his style, it must be noted that the gestures and body postures of a highly trained dance company in 1972 are a long way from his original choreography.
